Log in to Verizon Wireless for Business. Under Manage Account, navigate to Manage Wireless Numbers. Click on the plus symbol to the left of the wireless number that you want to work with.
On the right side of the next page under Plan Information, click “Edit” next to the word Chargeable under Features. Select the radio button next to “Dial international numbers and use your device(s) while traveling outside of the US. This will narrow the options you’ll have to choose from below.
Scroll down to International Calling Services and make sure that button is clicked. Scroll down some more and under Data Roam, make sure that button is NOT clicked. Continue scrolling, under International (While Traveling Outside the US), make sure that button is also NOT clicked.
Lastly and most importantly, under International Travel (While Outside the US), check the box next to TravelPass with Mexico and Canada Included. This will charge the user $10 per day while they are using voice and data, and any usage will just count towards their regular data and voice allowance.
Scroll to the bottom of this page and click “Continue.” On the next page, choose the date you want the service to be effective and click “Submit.” The user should power cycle their phone at this point to make changes take effect.
